How It Started

Kane wanted new doors and windows for his own house. The local quote came back at about $80,000, which he thought was too much.
So he looked at repainting the old aluminium frames instead. That was going to cost $20,000.

He shopped around and spoke to a lot of suppliers before choosing one.
Then he and Chris went to that supplier's showroom to check the quality for themselves.

Kane bought new doors and windows for his own house first, and they cost him about what the paint job would have. Your price depends on the size of your windows, and we work it out on your quote.
A number of other people then had them put in their houses. Now we sell them to the public, and we measure, supply and install them across south and east Melbourne and the Mornington Peninsula.
Kane shows people through his house, so they can see the windows and doors in place. We're also building a showroom, so builders can see the frames up close.
I started looking for cheaper options, because 80 grand was too much.

- Products
What we supply
Every frame we sell is aluminium. Our windows are awning windows, hinged at the top, casement windows, hinged at the side, and sliding windows. Our doors slide, pivot or fold back in panels, called bifolds, and the windows and the sliding, bifold and casement doors are double glazed. We lead with thermally broken frames, which have an insulating strip through the metal. Here are our aluminium windows and aluminium doors.
- Process
How we work
Send us how many windows you have, your suburb and a few photos, and we come back with a ballpark. Then we come out, measure every window ourselves and give you a closer ballpark on the spot. You check the drawings your windows and doors are made from before anything is made, and our install team of qualified carpenters fits them 8 to 10 weeks after you sign off the drawings.

Who makes the windows
Our windows and doors come to us directly from an approved manufacturing partner. Where they apply, they're supplied to four Australian Standards, including AS 2047 for windows and AS 1288 for glass. Certification is available on request.

Who we work for
Most of our jobs are homeowners replacing every window in the house. Small jobs are welcome, and plenty of people start with one room or one sliding door. We also supply and install for small builders and owner-builders, and apartments and strata buildings are fine too.
