Value Double Glazing Melbourne

Double Glazed Doors Melbourne, Sliding, Bifold And Casement

We supply double glazed aluminium sliding doors and bifold doors for the back of the house. Bifold doors fold back like a concertina. For the front entry, we supply pivot doors, which turn on pins at the top and bottom.

We measure every door ourselves, and our own install team fits it.

What Double Glazed Doors Do We Supply?

We supply double glazed aluminium sliding doors in the ML86, ML102, ML102-TB and ML150 narrowline series. Bifold doors come in the ML75 folding door series. We also supply pivot front doors from our entry door collection. The ML102-TB sliding door and side-hinged casement door have a thermal break. That's an insulating strip through the frame that stops cold travelling through the metal. We fit double glazed doors in Melbourne's south and east, and on the Mornington Peninsula.

Sliding doors run along a track, bifold doors fold back in a stack, and pivot doors turn on pins at the top and bottom.

Pick How Your Door Opens

Sliding and bifold doors are for the back of the house. A casement door suits a single doorway, and a pivot door is a front door.

Sliding Or Bifold?

If you want the widest opening out to the deck, look at double glazed bifold doors. If you want a thermal break in the frame, the ML102-TB double glazed sliding door is our thermally broken sliding door.

  • Your Choice Of Glass

You choose the glass. Low-E glass has a thin coating that reflects heat, and argon filled glass has a heavy gas sealed in the gap between the panes. Laminated glass holds together if it breaks, acoustic glass is laminated with a layer that damps sound, and tinted glass cuts glare.

  • Safety Glass Where It's Needed

AS 1288, the Australian Standard for glass in buildings, sets where safety glass must go, and doors are one of those places. Laminated glass is one kind. Our guide to glass options for double glazing explains the rest.

  • Frame Colours

Our ML86, ML102, ML102-TB and ML75 door frames come in these three colours. All but the ML75 bifold can also be made in a special colour. Colours for the ML150 narrowline door are confirmed on your quote.
